Soil tensiometer (Irrigation Equipment)

A device that measures soil moisture tension or suction, i.e. how tightly water is held around the soil particles. And how difficult it is for plants roots to extract it from the soil. The Soil tensiometer are of varying length from 15cm, 30cm, 45cm, 60cm, 90cm and 120cm such that to meet the varying crop root zone depths. Soil tensiometer i.e. at shallow and deep determine when to start irrigate and when to stop irrigate hence, avoid over or under irrigation. Soil tensiometer determines the quantity of water to irrigate your coffee trees as per soil types provided the water application rate is known. Hence aiding in designing of accurate irrigation systems
